Wow. Sunday, Jul 30 2006

I did it. We did it. Blogathoners did it. Over $90,000 in total was raised for various charities during this years Blogathon. Even though I’m pretty sure my sleep routine is going to be fudged up for awhile, I’m glad I did it. Thank you to the sponsors, the commenters and all those who helped me stay up.

This blog won’t be going anywhere. Feel free to keep commenting on the posts. The pets around here love comments and attention.

On a side note, it seems that All-Night.Org is back up and running, for now anyway.

Cute Puppies! Sunday, Jul 30 2006

Obviously I’m starting to run out of ideas. I went to Google and searched for “cute puppies.” I’m surprised I didn’t get any boob pictures but without any further delay, some cute ass puppies.

The Home Stretch! Sunday, Jul 30 2006

I feel like I can relax now that I reached my goal. Between the March For The Animals and the Blogathon, I believe I’ve raised close to $1000 for the MD SPCA. How freakin’ awesome is that? Next year my goal for the walk is going to be $1000. I keep checking the MD SPCA website to see if they have announced when and where yet. I’ll need to sign up early in order to make that kinda goal! You can bet your ass as soon as I sign up, I’ll be blogging about it!

And it sure it weird being awake when your parents wake up for the day.

Big Pimp’n Baby! Sunday, Jul 30 2006

Say hello to Rocko! He is owned by another one of my Aunts. He’s a purebred Boxer. This picture was taken at the March For The Animals before the costume contest. Sadly, he didn’t win. I think he looks pretty sharp! What do ya’ll think? He was really well behaved during the Walk and didn’t really bark or anything. He’s such a laid back dog and he gets tons of compliments. One of this tricks includes putting a treat on the end of his nose and then he’ll flip it in the air and catch it! Awesome eh?

Your Pets! Sunday, Jul 30 2006

Jane says:

How cool, I’m glad you got more $$ towards your charity. Okay, as you know, I have a pet pot bellied pig & her real name is Trixi, but on my blog, she’s Cheeta. She’s 4 years old, black & weighs about 125 lbs. She’s really funny & barks more than she snorts. She likes to go for walks & eat grass & little flowers. She sleeps with a sheet and 2 blankets. Gets 3 2-course meals a day. If I dont wake up with her in the morning, she tips over my computer chair & it wakes me up. She loves to wrestle with Tarzan. Her favorite foods are probably watermelon & sweet potato. Okay, that’s all for now

Kat says:

Let me tell you about a Dog Named Boo. A Dog Named Boo was wanderin the ole streets of Santa Monica when ole Peta picked em up. He was rehomed 4 or 6 times and was becoming considered to be unadoptable. We got him, trained him abit, and now he is the best & cutest dog ever. He knows sit, wave shake, say *gasp*, and does minor agility. He saved my life & brought me closer to dogs. I used to be a cat person until I met him.

Joisey says:

Yay! I’ll tell you about my little shih-tzu, Pookie! He’s my mom’s dog. She got him when I was 17. My dad finally said it was OK for her to get a dog since I was going to be leaving for college.

We got him at a breeders’. We almost didn’t. He was too expensive, so we left. But just as we were pulling the car out of the parking spot, the breeder ran out and cut the price about 30%! So the then tiny ball of fur was ours.

Now it’s 8½ years later and he’s the best thing to ever happen to our family. So sweet and lovable, and oh is he spoiled! I miss him though since he’s with my parents all the way back in NJ.

Here’s a pic of the two of us together:

Mr. Fab says:

We have three bunnies, Anya, Wally, and Bear. We’ve had them for about five years. We adopted them from a local woman who takes rabbits in and tries to find them good home. Anya is the leader, she is the most aggressive and curious. Wally is the lump. He is content just to shed and eat. And Bear is somewhere in the middle. They actually have their own room. We have one of the bedrooms set up just for them. Yeah, they are pretty spoiled. They are all from the same litter.

Atom Girl says:

Right now I live with three animals. Two cats and a dog, none of which are mine. *My* pets are home with my mom. My cat Mistoffoles is a big fat black cat who I miss so much it hurts, and my green parakeet Pesto. I know they are getting super love, and I give super love to the animals I live with. It is in my nature, I love animals.
Everytime I hear/see people talk about their pets I think about Sidney. Sidney was my beloved hamster that died last year. His full name was Sid Vicious. He was my companion for awhile. Not to mention he was insanely cute. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v16/hogwarts_hobbit/sid3.jpg (and http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v16/hogwarts_hobbit/sid1.jpg)
